Randy Mahaffey Basketball - April 9th, 2022 Randolph Mahaffey (born September 28, 1945) is an American former professional basketball player.
The Los Angeles Lakers selected him with the fourth pick of the second round of the 1967 NBA Draft (16th overall pick) and the Kentucky Colonels of the American Basketball Association also drafted him. Mahaffey signed with the American Basketball Association's Colonels. In his rookie season with the Colonels, Mahaffey scored over 1,000 points and was an ABA All-Star.
